BEFORE YOU SETTLE IN

At CDG, “Terminal 2” is not a precise enough location. YOTELAIR is in Terminal 2E, Hall L, inside the restricted transit area. It is not accessible to every CDG passenger.

Official access & transfer instructions
THE CDG DETAILS

For 2E, the hall and shuttle hours matter

An arrival in one hall and a departure from another should be treated as a specific route. The YOTELAIR operator publishes particularly useful instructions for reaching the hotel at L.

01

Check the K, L or M designation

The operator’s instructions describe a route to the L hall from K or M using the LISA shuttle. Confirm the flight itinerary and access conditions before treating that as your own transfer route.

02

Do not assume the shuttle runs all night

The published hotel instructions list LISA operating between 05:00 and 23:30. Confirm the current service for your arrival date, especially if the hotel stay would begin or end outside that window.

03

Ask before committing to a late arrival

Send the hotel your actual landing time and arrival hall. A room that is available for sale does not prove that your particular arrival route will be open or that your boarding pass allows access to the hotel area.

These are hotel-access considerations, not a universal minimum connection time. Use the airline’s instructions for the flight-to-flight transfer itself.

Terminals & airport transfers

Choose the route for your itinerary. Public road directions do not describe restricted airport corridors.

Landside · immigration and recheck

CDG ↔ Orly · another airport

Rail connections or a road transfer

Orly is not a CDG terminal. Public transport combines airport rail or metro services: CDG is served by RER B, while Orly is served by Metro 14 and Orlyval. Use the regional journey planner for your date and exact terminal; include interchange walks, baggage and the next check-in deadline. A road route is available below as an alternative, subject to traffic.

Public side

T1 ↔ Roissypole / T3 ↔ T2

Free CDGVAL automated train

CDGVAL connects T1, PR parking, Roissypole, PX parking and T2. RATP lists trains from 04:00 to 01:00 and a bus replacement overnight. The Roissypole stop serves the T3 area; allow for the walk. CDGVAL is different from the restricted-area transfer route between 2E halls.

Use a separate route for airside connections

Terminal 2G needs another leg

N2 shuttle from 2F on the public side

RATP lists a free N2 shuttle between 2F and 2G. Reaching the CDGVAL Terminal 2 stop does not put you at 2G. Keep the full terminal and hall on your plan, then use your airline’s connecting-flight instructions if staying airside.

Baggage

Storage is near the Terminal 2 rail station

Bagages du Monde lists luggage storage in the Terminal 2 TGV/RER station area, opposite the Sheraton. Use the operator’s current directions and airport signs: its published pages differ on the level number. Check opening and collection times before a Paris visit, and allow time to retrieve your luggage before security.

Accessibility

Air France connections with mobility needs

Air France’s SAPHIR programme supports passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility. The airline asks for assistance requests when booking, at least 48 hours before departure, through its website or dedicated phone service. Include the CDG connection and any terminal change in your request; passengers on another carrier should arrange support with their own airline.

01

Your CDG connection route

Keep the full terminal and hall designation for both flights. Terminal 2E includes K, L and M halls. Use the airport’s flight-connection instructions rather than walking toward a hotel based on its airport address.

02

Calculate time you can actually use

Subtract arrival procedures, all transfers, security and the airline’s boarding deadline from the gap between flights. Use our planner to make those assumptions explicit. It estimates a time budget; it does not validate the airline’s minimum connection time.

03

Can you explore Paris?

A Paris excursion needs permission to enter France and a complete return plan. Check the airport’s ground-transport updates for your date; do not base the decision on a typical train time alone.

04

Separate tickets: resolve the baggage question

YOTELAIR is at 2E Hall L, not in a public hotel zone. The operator’s arrival instructions and boarding-pass conditions determine whether you can reach it. Ask both airlines whether baggage is checked through. If it is not, include reclaim, entry, bag drop and security. Confirm the second airline’s check-in cutoff before making any optional plans.
